Stronger Together: Robbinsdale Empty Bowls

For over 5 years New Hope Women of Today has been supporting, our local Empty Bowls program. Empty Bowls started as a grass roots effort to raise awareness to food insecurities and support local food shelves. The Robbinsdale Empty Bowls program supports the Prism (Golden Valley) and NEAR (Crystal) food shelves.

Our member Anna N is one of this fundraiser’s committee members. She shares with our chapter financial and volunteer opportunities available, and we stepped up to support her and the food shelves. This year our chapter not only donated financially but showed up to volunteer the day of the event logging over 40 service hours.

New Hope Women of Today is founded on community service and supporting great causes throughout the area. We are lucky to have such talented members who share their skills with other organizations and each other.
