Simple Tunaless Salad

By Bonnie Hansen

Simply make your favorite tuna salad recipe and exchange mashed chickpeas for the tuna! Ideally, it’s best to remove the outer layer of the chickpeas before smashing. But not necessary. ENJOY!

Helping Out Prism

By Diane W Carr

I volunteer at PRISM and I must say I have never seen the food shelves so empty. They need EVERYTHING. I am more than willing to take in any canned / boxed goods to PRISM. Diapers, wipes and other supplies are also needed. Please feel free to drop anything off at my house and I will take them in. I will also offer an incentive to everyone who brings me a small bag of groceries at the April meeting. It's really rough out there for some folks.

A Message from the President, April

Wow, I can’t believe it is time for me to write my final president’s message. It’s seems like only yesterday that I was elected as the 2022-23 chapter president. Some highlights of the year:

• The many great service projects chaired by many members. A few of my favorites were: Teaming up with One Good Deed with Supplies for the Homeless and the Backpacks with supplies for high school girls; Valentines for Vets; Holiday Gifts for Crescent Cove; Painting Bowls for Empty Bowls; the Holiday Shopping Spree, and Park Restoration.

• My favorite membership socials were the Cards Against Humanity game night, the Halloween Party, and Bingo at Outtakes.

• Other great activities were chair yoga; attending the Off Broadway Theater play with front row seats as a sponsor, Book Club, and the Halloween party.

My favorite thing about being part of MN Women of Today is seeing members grow in confidence by planning activities, suggesting new ideas, and sharing their passions. I am excited to move onto a new year of adventures.
