It's the most wonderful time of the year!
To keep our annual tradition going, we're looking for 25 volunteers to help bring joy to
economically disadvantaged children.
Each volunteer is paired with a child and to help them buy
Christmas gifts for their family members. They should have a list, but not all do. Each child is
given $50 to spend, which is money we raised from the wreath sales, butter braid sales and our
booth at the Cooper Craft Fair. After shopping, you help your child wrap their gifts and then visit
with Santa.
This event is a favorite for many members. It's a one-on-one opportunity to bring holiday joy for a
child and their family. If you've volunteered in the past, you know how special this project
is. Please consider signing-up your significant other, friends and neighbors, but volunteers should
be at least 18 years or older.
To sign-up please email pammedvec@msn.com.
Thanks from the Holiday Shopping Spree Committee,
Pam M, Marion H, Terri J
P.S. – Please bring gift bags to the November meeting. We
need these for the shopping spree in addition to the gift wrap
that we already have!
