Community Notes: "SHATTERED DREAMS"
Shattered Dreams is a YouTube video about texting and driving. If you haven't seen it we have listed the website here. Every year the State Patrol does an educational video which is shown all over the State at Schools, but it doesn't always get out to others. This year MSP has given us opportunity to view this video and share it with everyone. Please pass it on to Friends, Family etc.
You can access the video by going to this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKKw-Q1M80o

The Reason for Duk Duk Daze
There are a lot of reasons for NHWT to be involved in DDD. It's a fun time where friends and families can get together on a summer day. It gives us a visible presence in New Hope. But for me, there's are really great reason for us to do the kiddie parade and games. For many families, the State Fair is just out of reach for their budgets. DDD provides families with very very low cost games, prizes and fun. I have had parents and grandparents tell me how great that their kids could have a day of fun for just pennies of what it would cost to go to the Fair. Duk Duk Daze isn't just a fund raiser. It's a community service! Please help families have a great time by signing up for one or more shifts. It can make a difference for a little kid.
