Vendor Fair

New Hope Women of Today will be having another Vendor Fair at Holy Nativity on Saturday, October 3rd.

If you have a home based business and wish to register or know someone else who might be interested, please email me. There will be ads placed on Craig’s List and on Facebook to find vendors who wish to participate.

If you have any questions, please contact me. The money raised from the registrations goes to our Ways and Means. This is the way we offer a sales opportunity to the home based business community because they are not permitted in the Cooper Craft Show later in the month.

5K Update

The NHWT 5K is almost here - Saturday, April 18th at French Regional Park!

If you're not participating, please consider helping. With either option you'll get some fresh air and help a great cause: www.kodyscloset.org. Plus we'll have free coffee and lots of great silent auction baskets to bid on.

As of 3/12, here are the open positions we need to fill:
1. 7:00 - 9:30 a.m. Mark the course with signs, set-up start/finish (need 2 more)
2. 11:00 - noon Pick-up course signs (need 3 more people)
3. 8:00 - 11:00 Set-up and manage silent auction items/table (2 people)
4. 9:30 - 11:00 Help with kids’ games (2 people)

Note: Race time is 10:00 and registration opens at 8:30.

Members it's Passport Time!

Do you remember the passport I gave you in the blue folder? It's time to take them out. Look over your passport and fill it out. I will have more stickers available at the General Meetings. These passports are a personal way to show what you have accomplished over the year. Most of you will be surprised just how much you do. I want you to bring your passports to the March and April meetings. The first time you bring in your passport, you will receive a very special charm. Every month you bring in your passport you will be entered into a drawing for a $10 Applebee's gift card drawing to be held during new business at the end of each of the meetings.

Bras and Bubbly

Our March General Meeting will feature some FUN hostess treats by Sandy B and Delores H. This meeting kicks off the Bras, Brunch, and Bubbly Ways and Means Fundraiser that will take place on Saturday, March 28th at 10:30 am.

Amy, The Bra Lady, will have a few minutes to tell us about her products, starting at 10:30 AM, and then we will have the custom fittings.

Several ladies in our group purchased bras at the Vendor Fair and LOVE them!!! Kellee recently commented that the bras make you feel "perky"! Karen mentioned that they are "very comfortable".

Please see the sign-up sheet at the March meeting. If you cannot attend that meeting to sign up, please contact Delores (d2hoseth@q.com) to make sure we know you are coming. Sandy and I would love to have 10-12 ladies or more join us... bring a friend!!! This will be an "uplifting" experience. We thank you for your "support"! Bras, Brunch, and Bubbly!!!

New Hope Women of Today – 2015 Spring Flower Sale

Please support our Spring Flower Sale this year. All proceeds from this fundraiser are used to help vulnerable children and elderly members in our community.

This year the proceeds from our Spring Flower Sale will be divided between the Habitat 500 (www.habitat500.org) and Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis (JFCS). Habitat 500 is a bike ride that raises funds for Habitat for Humanity. 99 cents of every $1 raised goes to new homes. JFCS is a multiservice nonprofit agency serving people from all backgrounds with programs and services from early childhood learning and career services to personal counseling and senior services (www.jfcsmpls.org).

Orders must be received by March 23 (March General Meeting) to meet the delivery date. Please make checks payable to NEW HOPE WOMEN OF TODAY.
